E3 2017!  What’s worth spending 10 hours a day in line?

The Electronic Entertainment Expo is the electronic games highlight event of the year.  We’ve watched the press conferences. We’ve read the rumors. Now here is what we are most interested in for E3 this year:

Microsoft:

Project Scorpio is announced as Xbox One X, with 4k video and higher performance

Microsoft continues backwards compatibility with XBOX titles even back to the original XBOX

Forza stands to be the most realistic racing experience ever created. And they revealed an actual Porsche model for the first time on stage at E3. That’s the real car, and in game! Global exclusive!

The open world pirate adventure game, Sea of Thieves , actually looks interesting now!

Platform standardization for Minecraft – the same game on all formats, even mobile!

And everyone seems to talking about ANTHEM!

Sony:

Sony was probably the winner of the E3 press conference wars with lots of great new property to present.

PS4 Pro – With new performance increases and Better Graphics
Call of Duty: WW2, VR Skyrim
God of War continues its 3rd person action story-driven combat franchise
Detroit: Become Human – decision based gameplay that affects outcome and opportunities
DESTINY 2! More of what made Destiny one of the best games ever made. Also for PC Gamers!
DAYS GONE! SO WANT THIS GAME! Massive numbers of on screen zombies to slay? I’m in!
Spiderman looks good as well.

Ubisoft:

Of course, ASSSASSIN’S CREED ORIGIN. Set in ancient Egypt, this chapter proves to be amazing.

The Crew 2 – Interesting a its racing content extends to cars, boats, dirt track and even planes. And of course it looks great.

FarCry 5 – gameplay looks good, but I’m not sure the theme will have what it takes to bring gamers in. The multiplayer coop is impressive, however.

Steep adds an expansion for Winter Olympics 2018. Cool! (no pun intended)

Transference – a new VR game

Skull and Bones – a PVP pirate adventure and battle open world game

Bethesda:

Fallout VR, Doom VR,

Wolfenstein: The New Colossus is probably the most anticipated Bethesda title this E3

Quake Champions, the arena style deathmatch shooter locks into ESPORTS with new worldwide competitions announced.

We love anything SCARY, so The EVIL WITHIN 2 gets our blood pumping!

PC Gaming Show:

XCOM2 Expansion – War of the chosen – 4 new resistance forces to play with and against. The fully align each with your forces to battle your common enemy.

Total War Warhammer 2  – new factions

Lone Echo – VR Game looks amazing, and Echo Arena is available free July 20th.

New content for Killing Floor 2

The Last Night – This game has a graphic style that is intriguing. Coupled with player memory, evidenced by conversations with characters being able to remember what was said in your last interaction

Lawbreakers, Wargroove (turn based strategy battle game) and Middle Earth: Shadow of war look great as well.

And finally, AGE OF EMPIRES is being totally remastered for re-release soon!
