There are many professional gaming teams out there that you may have heard of, but which ones really stand out from the others? Several teams are higher profile than the others, and a few usually stand out to anyone even vaguely familiar with pro gaming. For me, the team that first comes to mind is Evil Geniuses.

Evil Geniuses (or EG) is one of the best teams out there, and arguably, the very best. While it may be hard to prove that they are the best team, there is one way to judge the success of any team: MONEY. Evil Geniuses have made over $15 million over the years, making them the highest paid professional gaming team in the world.

EG has assembled pro teams to compete in most popular competitive video game properties including Dota 2, CounterStrike:GO, Call of Duty, Halo, Overwatch, and various fighting games. Some of their Dota players are Arteezy (Artour Babaev), Fear (Clinton Loomis), and UNiVeRsE (Saahil Arora).
