A-TECH GAMING is on a mission to help sick and injured kids in our local community and we need your help. Our members are all over the country, so each member has chosen a local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital that treats thousands of children each year.
To help raise funds and awareness for these sick and injured kids, every year we join with EXTRA LIFE (http://extra-life.org) along with GAMERS of all kinds and ages. On Novemeber 2nd, We pledge toplay everything from video games to board games and tabletop RPG’s for 24 hours non-stop!

Extra Life is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program within the gaming community. Participants fundraise year-round and pledge to game for 24 hours with one goal: to save and improve the lives of sick and injured kids. Funds raised stay local to help pediatric patients at 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America. Since 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $30 million for member hospitals. The movement, formed by gamers bonded by passion, is committed to saving and improving the lives of local kids.
Extra Life is gamers doing what they do best to help sick and injured children at their chosen Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Simply sign up, commit to play games for 24 hours with us on any day of your choosing (or over a few days), and ask your family and friends to support your efforts!
Playing games can help my hospital? How does it work?
Great question! You can get started by registering right here! Once you complete registration, you’ll get an online fundraising page that you can customize by choosing which hospital you want to support, setting a fundraising goal and sharing your personal reason for why you’re participating in Extra Life. You’re able to unlock digital content and rewards by asking your family and friends to donate towards your efforts.
The money that you raise through Extra Life will go directly to your chosen Children’s Miracle Network Hospital as ‘unrestricted funds’. This means that the hospital decides where and how to spend the money to ensure the dollars you raise make the biggest impact in the lives of the kids they treat. For example, the money you raise will go to fund research and training, purchase life-saving equipment and pay for uncompensated care. Our hospitals treat every patient that comes through their doors, regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Our mission is to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible and the funds you raise make it possible for our hospitals to do that!
All games! From PS4 to poker on your phone, from classic board games to playing H-O-R-S-E in your driveway, the important thing is that you’re having fun and helping the kids!
It’s totally up to you! You can game from the comfort of your own couch, at your friend’s house, at a rec center—anywhere is fair game (Pun intended. Eyerolls permitted)! Lots of Extra Lifers organize big group events for the occasion and just as many pull out the sweatpants and snacks for a chill day at home. It’s your fundraiser—do it your way!
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. The hospitals, in turn, are able to use the money where it is needed the most.
